Yeah; my belief is that basically by doing any given HQ, you're establishing a set of relationships on the Otherside (that you seduce the Dark Woman at [this point], that you kill the Broos [here]). You can re-do it to "reinforce" that original effect: that's similar to what's going on in every worship ceremony, after all. ("Thanks Orlanth; that's just the way we like it...") I think each time you do the "same" quest at a new "level", that's different, as you're interacting with a different part of the O/S (though your earlier, easier attempts should be of some preparatory benefit, and I think how well-known and frequently-done the quest is in general, in some way affects the overall "ease"...).

To do what Harmast and Argrath do, and do the same quest "in full" twice requires some extra trickery. I think the second time round must involve somehow "reimagining" the quest, or somehow making choices in the quest that avoid simply redundantly redoing what you did before, without contradicting it, either.

I'm not so sure about this. I think this would depend on how different the intended effect makes the quest. (I assume they need to be somewhat different, else the O/S wouldn't "know" what to give you...)
