Magical Augments - A little extreme?

On a 75% chance of success, on average of 8 attempts at augments only six will succeed.

Even if the skill level is such that there's a 95% chance of success, there's still a 5% chance of a fumble. 8 tries at 5% adds up to more risk of a fumble than I'd ever take with my characters, just before an important fight.

What effect are you giving for failed and fumbled rolls on augments?
