Except, disquiet on this list seems to often come from people who are merely voicing theoretical opinions rather than reporting experience. When they are reporting experience, it seems they have sometimes played in a non standard way, which is the real cause of the problem. If people who have extensively played the game assert there is no problem, this suggests that there is no REAL problem with the particular rule, but that the rules are being misapplied in someway. That in turn suggests examining how the rules were misapplied, rather than trying to change the rules themselves (a common reaction). So, such assertions are appropriate, methinks
