It souds like a great experiment for the God Learners to have carried out:

  1. Measure the height of Kero Fin.
  2. Persuade/force an entire clan of locals to become her worshippers.
  3. Measure the height of Kero Fin again and see whether she's shrunk... (...4 - persuade an entire tribe to commence worshipping her on a paticular day, and see if the shrinkage becomes visible to the naked eye...)

Maybe in the Dawn Age the mountain was 16 miles high? ;-)
