Gaining Hero Points

Hi,

In HW hero points were gained at every session. In HQ hero points are gained at each adventure. Does an adventure equate a session, or is an adventure supposed to be multiple sessions, or ... ?

Was the progression too fast in HW? won't it be too slow in HQ?

Of course how to hand hero points is ultimately up to each narrator, but I'm curious about people's take on it on the list.
