I agree and disagree. Mark is a reasonable guy, so I'll try another direction here even if I think it might not get picked up.
Don't tell people how to do archery as an exception, because it's not an exception. This gives the wrong impression, IMO. Instead, what I'd advocate, is presenting examples that make clear the dramatic nature of the resolution system (yah, I spose this could include an archery example if done carefully so as to not make it an exception). I think if that's made clear, that the archery example becomes moot - as do many, many other problems that people have with how the system works.
