Sure. But don't take away our free lunch for the modification we're working on! :-)

Because the idea was that the free lunch in question balances, somewhat, the idea of having the cost of these stand-alones being based off of the affinity cost. Basically 3 HP to raise a feat one point. Nobody is going to do that unless there's a break somewhere else.

OTOH, Alex's idea of just paying one to have the stand-alone feat at 8 (argued as from a theoretical 13 affinity -5) seems reasonable, too. But, again, that's so weak to start that I'd want to incentivize it with having it have no time committment cost.
