Oh, that's easy. Having, RW years back, dropped a certain heron/reed spirit as a founding guardian of a clan at the edge of the Marsh, and having passed the old campaign background to my present GM :) Not all the settlers in Sartar came from Heortland, you know. I'm not sure how my PC's going to find out. But the link is there.
