And, as explained previously, not having printed numbers won't help this anyway. You have a base difficulty which is only vaguely related to the general level of competence of the characters (not the specific skill being used) and a specific modifier based on the difficulty (again not related to the specific skill being used). If the player is then able to augment up the wazoo then your "relative" resistance will still be miles out...
