One time per session. Its assumed that they are refilled between sessions. If you're Joe Grazelander, you won't be using your fetishes all the time -- only for that little oomph when you hunt or raid. And after that, you have some meat or slaves or trinkets to talk to the shaman about getting a refill. I'd be saying its a between games/out of game thing.

Our game has had it happen on quite a few occasions. Two typical methods: Spending a HP on the contest (if its a simple) or requesting, since it is an involved process, an extended contest. And if its extended, bidding big when you go for the 'finishing blow' in the contest -- or spending a HP to increase the success when you've got it down and out.

That just gives him the standard 12 Might spirit. Bigger ones have to be 'caught' in game, I think. Or the name gifted. Or the player has to go and do the spirit circle ritual == which is pretty dangerous

It happens with ease. The kolating we have kicking around also has his assistants help him (augments) before he goes into the duel (he has a Spirit Combat of 9w, I believe and a Kolating Tradition of 4w). Even when its a simple contest, he can get a decent success. He's a relatively so an experienced one should find the creation of such feishes (the more-than-one-per-day type) trivial.

Anyway, that's the view from here.
