It's one of the key elements of Lunar religious art. The Seven Dishes (aka "those Gene Day illustrations of the Quest of the Red Goddess") are omnipresent throughout the empire, in countless different styles. Diverse modes of representation (traditional, ethnic, modern, zany) is positively encouraged, as it proves that "We are all Us".
NOBODY can ignore the Red Goddess riding the Crimson Bat!
