O.K., let's consider the Lismelder Greydog clan, which is largely
Humakti and defends the other clans against Delecti. That part makes
some sense, and I can imagine other clans giving them food etc.
But this clan is presumably taking heavy losses in battle. And they
don't come back. And, being Humakti, they aren't very fertile.
Sending lots of worship to fertility Gods to compensate just makes
them bad Humakti IMO.
Options:
- There is a very happy Yinkin guy there impregnating all the women
of the clan while their real husbands are out fighting and dying
against undead horrors.
- The other clans have to send them new blood - every firstborn son
or whatever is sent there and turns into a Humakti.
#1 has zero appeal to me. #2 makes some sense.
In any case they are pretty far outside the normal bounds of clandom.
