Sagas and Literature

OK, I think this thread has gone on far too long - and has completely obscured the underlying post, which was showing how Sacred Time ceremonies can be run in game and how a player might pick up a Trickster as a sidekick.

At the end of the day, this huge thread can be summed up as little more than an aesthetic difference between Jane (on side) and me (on the other) - basically, I like sagas and the Sopranos, Jane likes internal dialogue in literature. The only Gloranthan thing I can end this with is that we know that the Heortlings like sagas. And they would probably like the Sopranos.:)
