I wouldn't worry about it Stu, that sounds like a pretty normal route for Gloranthan creativity! (Ducks, Groatons...) As Jane has been known to comment - half the fun is going back and working how these crazy ideas fit in to the background... Some are obviously less serious than others, but if they work in the context of your game, who cares? (I doubt that the chief priest of the Crimson Bat is really a millionaire playboy who dresses up in a Bat costume to round up criminals (cf http://www.etyries.com/moonson/paulis-longvale.htm ) - but that's no reason not to enjoy "Life of Moonson" as a game...
