Shito Myths refer to entities like "Amatsu-Kami"(High Gods) and "Kunitsu-Kami"
(Low Gods) and Amaterasu (Goddess who is said to be ancestor of current Emperor)
is one of Amatsu-Kami. It is considered that tribe who worship
Amatsu-Kami (it may be
a horse-ridding people from Asian Continent, who worship sun deity)
conquer native
tribes who worship Kunitsu-Kami and create mythic-history including
Kunitu-myth so to
authorize dynasty of emperors.
Amatsu-Kami deities:
Amaterasu: Goddess of Sun, Ancestor of Emperors
Tsukuyomi: God of Moon, brother of Amaterasu
Amanouzume: Goddess of Ar tress, dance, miko(shamaness)
Izanagi and Izanami: God and Goddess of Creation
Hachiman: = Ouzin Emperor. Legendary Hero-emperor, God of War,
Protector of Genji Samurais
Zinmu Emperor: Founder of Emperor House, "Conquering East". God of War, Bow.
Yamato-Takeru: Demi-God Hero (like Heracles) who conquer Yamato(Japan)
for emperor
Sugawara Michizane: A scholor court noble who was dead in despair
(crica 901), and haunt
the court. He is worshiped as God of Scholarship and one of most
popular god now for
examiner.
Omoikane: God of Wisdom.
Kunitsu-Kami deities:
Ookuni-Nushi: God who created and ruled Earth
Susanoo: God of Farm, and Greatest Trickster. Brother of Amaterasu
Oomagatsuhi-no-Kami: God of Disaster.
Takeminakata: God of War
Konohana-Sakuya-Hime: Goddess of Mt.Fuji, cherry blossom, limited life
Hiruko: God of Sea Trade, abandoned child of Izanagi and Izanami
