Hi, I finally thought of a question to ask (OK there are many but maybe this one is answerable)--

What is the Wolfbear of Dorastor? Is this a predetermined (by the writers etc) thing in Gloranthan history (hence perhaps very important beyond Dorastor/the Risklands), or left open for GMs/narrators to decide for themselves (hence a minor event on the global scale, or at least just a symptom of something bigger), or is that answer not yet determined?

The D:LoD text is ambiguous. Perhaps more Risklands material was planned at the time (seems so) and the answer to this mystery was being saved for later, then abandoned with the demise of RQ3, or (many possibilities)...?

One less exciting answer is that the prophecized "Wolfbear" is symbolic of the rise of the Talastari tribes against the Empire (as Sartar really gets rekindled), which is consistent with the Paulis Longvale tales and elsewhere (KoS?). Or the Wolfbear is a chaos monster (ironically destroying the Dorasta shrine, or warping it?), or an anti-chaos monster, or a being/power that expands the ancient purity of the Dorasta shrine further into Dorastor. Perhaps the Old Wolf Fort is tied to this, as it is unlikely to have much to do with the Telmori.

Thoughts, inside info, hints etc?
Thanks
