Chris,

I was thinking about giants being an early representation of the man rune too. Even if not the "true" form somehow, just *a* form.

My vague impression of RW mythology is that giants somehow represent a physical expression of mankind where the gods are emotions and so on. No idea if that has any truth to it.

A part of my initial question was also - when did they first appear? During the celestial Court or later?
