Thanks for these. I'm not sure how interested I am in second age material, but I'll still look through them. As far as rules are concerned, the situation seems a bit complicated. You mention Mongoose's rules, are their others I should know about? I know Chaosium and later Avalon Hill did a lot of RQ publishing back in the day. I guess what I'm looking for is a decent starting place, something like Sartar for Hero quest. All the best,
