The Entekosaid clearly describes Turos as the god of "Tersu". The Name "Turos" is obviously related to the word "Tersu". The Entekosaid clearly distinguishes between dalu (earth) and tersu (heat). The Jerontian Way has a pure earth deity, Oria.

I believe the only reasonable reading of The Entekosaid has "Tersu" as the main rune of Turos, with Earth having secondary or no importance.

I believe that Tersu is not simply Heat, because it has so many other important associations for the Pelandans. I believe it must be a special cultural-specific rune.

Note that Pelanda was always distant from God Learner influence, and was ruled for centuries by a people (the Carmanians) who hated the God Learners so much they preferred exile to submission, and who have inquisitors (the Viziers) for rooting out and suppressing beliefs they oppose. We should not be surprised if Pelandan concepts fit the God Learner rune scheme worse than more familiar cultures.

Now, Lodril and Turos are not the same. With the Dara Happan sky gods drawing all the Fire to themselves, and Lodril explicitly being a god that fell from heaven to earth and revelled in dirty earthiness, I can see how Earth is more important than Fire for Lodril.
