The recent rune discussion has prompted an old line of reasoning about I have about the runes of the Vithelan gods.

First the difference between Gods and Antigods. Gods are those who follow and support the grand Cosmic Order, embodied in and upheld by Vith. But what is the rune of the Cosmic Order? Is it the same as the western Law rune, or something different? I'd say that Vith is the owner of the Cosmic Order rune and that the Malkioni One God is the owner of the Law rune, which would make them different, but I really cannot say what the difference is.

Anyway, I think all Vithelan Gods have a lesser version of this rune, while the Antigods don't. This is in addition to the other runes of the Gods, which makes them "two and a half" or "one and a half" rune gods or something like that.

The High Gods probably have a Mysticism rune, owned by Oorduren. Some Gods also have this. They are not so much worshipped as gods, having "mystic cults" instead.

So,

Vith - Cosmic Order, Mysticism, Mastery
Oorduren - Mysticism, (lesser) Cosmic Order
...

Veldru - Air, Harmony, (lesser) Cosmic Order Karkal - Fire, (what rune is strength?), (lesser) Cosmic Order) Hensarava - Fire, Mysticism, (lesser) Cosmic Order Mairnali - Harmony, Mysticism, (lesser) Cosmic Order
...

The Small Gods might not all have the (lesser) Cosmic Order rune, but the line is blurred.

Hobimarong - Truth, (lesser) Cosmic Order Lumavoxoran - Water, (lesser) Cosmic Order
