I was definitely thinking that the female aspect may be important here. Of course, I'm not sure if she was found by a male or female troll. Again, it lends itself to a troll who didn't expect their taboo/rite/quest to result in meeting a hooman woman. But it did, and they aren't going to mess with it.

In this case, given her Lhankor Mhy background and more importantly, the way the player described it to me, I think I can't have her call on Vinga Uz-fighter. To hear her describe it, she survived because of the troll, not because of anything she did.
