I still don't have TR (and won't until the next payday comes round and I've paid off the credit card bill, but that's another story). But it sounds from what you're all saying as if it's going to be very good indeed. Could you just make a couple of points clear to me, though, before I spend the next month worrying?

And then from Greg:

So the keywords Graham says are closed to women, are open as long as the woman follows Vinga?

I'm thinking in particular of the "lawspeaker" one: in my game, the clan lawspeaker is female. A very pacifist female. I really don't see her as a Vingan. Do I have something to worry about, or not?

Celibate/infertile Vingans:

fertility, but can't find when it says they lose it.

As I originally wote it, they lose fertility as a direct (magical) result of dying their hair red: on initiation, in other words. But that was a long time ago, back when clanbased  cults were a pretty new idea to most of us. A lot of that write-up is still thinking about city-based temples. Wait for the new version, I'd say: I gather John Hughes has a finger or two in it, so it's going to be good.

For instance:

> Vingans seldom marry, but the cult holds no official position on it.

Which is much more what I'd say if I was writing it now. The Tradetalk write-up is old: looking at the version on my site, I claimed copyright back in 1996. Glorantha has come a long way in that time. It's even moved a little bit since Greg and Issaries rejoined it :)

Graham also said:
> Strangely enough the 'herder' keyword is also denied to women. Uraldan
> Herders seems obvious to me

And to me. What am I missing here?
