Opposing runes and the circle of elements

I love how HQ2 has returned to the runes I know and love. The changes in HW and original HQ were ill-adviced.

Anyway, I like how having harmony magic means you can't have disorder, and so forth.

I have two questions.

1. Is there any way to have opposing runes. Back in the day I think we'd be talking about illumination, Rashoran and Nysalor at this point. What about now? Can a magician have both Fertility and Death, and what would this do to him and his mind?
2. What about the elements. Is it possible to be a master of several elements, or are they all exclusive?
